Dynamo Showcase Cabinet
« on: August 18, 2003, 12:41:11 pm »
G'day guys!

From memory this is a dream cabinet for a lot of BYOACers out there. Also from memory there is a serious lack of of accurate dimensions available. The only example from the top of my head is taz's project.

So my question for everyone is has anyone ever asked valley-dynamo for the dimensions and angles used in their cabinet? I know it would be a big call to ask an arcade cabinet builder for their designs and for them to freely give it out, but I was just curious.

Or alternatively does anyone have any ideas where out there in the big wide web there maybe the actual dimensions already available.

Cheers guys!

-Alex

Actually to take it a step further, has anyone seen any manuals for this cabinet which would include diagrams and dimensions?

Any scans or ones available for purchase?

Doubtful that they would give out their bread and butter.

Showcase Cab
Monitor Section   78" High 48" wide 33 1/2" Deep
550 Pounds
Panel Section   44" High 48" Wide 30" Deep
140 Pounds

It sure is BIG.

You could rough out your own plans by applying the dimensions to available pictures.

Cheers Felix T for the link.

That was Taz's cab I was talking about earlier... he has done a very nice job there... but I remember looking at it and the dimensions were a little smaller then real thing, from memory. Anyhow... I can only keep on trying... but cheers and thanks again mate.
