You made it playable before you finished?  Now you'll never finish it!  :laugh2:

I really like this, it looks like a bar..

If it was mine, I would install cup holders like the ones in poker tables for each player.. looks good!

Yeah, i wanted it to be playable for my 25th birthday, it wont be playable for very long. over the next few weeks/months i'm going to build the rest of it and finish it up. it'll have a mid section housing the computer, powerboard, ETC and an enclosure for the monitor. i also plan on getting some hollow shaft's for the joysticks and translucent balltops and illuminating them and the buttons with LED lights. also, going to build an admin panel, cover add the extra MDF panels to the front of the machine, paint the whole cabinet and lay the vinyl on the control panel. hopefully, it'll look much better than the raw MDF sheets haha. it's all getting there slowly but surely. and as for the cup holders? i might be a bit of a nazi, but no drinks at the machine! there is a nice big table next to it people can put their drinks on.

I really can't wait to get it finished, but there are other things ATM that are sucking up my finances so progress will be slow.  anyone have any tips on LED lighting? honestly, it confuses me. a few are easy but a giant mass of LEDs like what i need for this? i have no idea where to start.

thanks for the compliments, makes it all feel worthwhile ^_^

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this has been an invaluable tool on a few projects of mine.

thankyou, very helpful tool, still a bit beyond me though. gotta do my research on this one.... might just cheat and put fluorescent lamps under the buttons. maybe.... plenty of time to consider my options.
