I don't know if this has been discussed before. My search didn't bring up something like that.
I have turned a generic cab into a Mame machine for a friend. When starting the frontend MALA starts playing MP3-files in random order. Now he asked if it is possible that Mala doesn't begin from the start but continues at the song where it stopped. I guess Mala will simplay look into the MP3 directory and then play them in random order (if configured that way).
So here's my suggestion (maybe as an option):
Mala creates a random playlist from the available songs and saves it. Now it starts playing the first song, then the second and so on. When a song has been played it is removed from the playlist (playlist still in memory). On shutting down MALA it saves the playlist with the remaining songs (maybe it would be better that it is saved whenever a song was removed)
Now Mala is restarted, looks at the playlist and continues with the next song that has not been played yet. If the playlist is empty on a restart it is created again in random sort order.
Any comments on that?
To be honest....such a function wouldn't be useful to me (I don#t use the MP3-playback at all) but maybe for enough other people

Thanks alot for reading
