ArcadeVGA 3000 VPU Error Recovery?
« on: October 21, 2010, 04:49:31 pm »
Im having issues with my ArcadeVGA3000+Jpac.  I have my arcadevga3000 installed on a fresh copy of windows xp pro sp3.  The system boots up fine I can see the windows logo on my lcd screen but when it switches to the arcade monitor it will freeze soon after, then go blank and come back to tell me that a VPU has recovered.  Eventually it will just force the computer to reset entirely. I thought perhaps its a hardware problem with the card but I tried installing it with a fresh copy of windows 7 and I have had no errors with it running.  Has anyone else gotten this VPU error Recovery issue when they installed their card? Anyone know how to solve this?

UPDATE: Andy contacted me and gave me a file to update my bios. Everything appears to be working fine except the screen/pc will hang (only if I'm not in MAME) followed by the monitor resetting itself. I don't get the VPU message anymore it seems but that monitor resetting is annoying!
