Adapting ultrastick plug-in for other applications?

Could this be easily altered to be called on by other things, such as Mame32?

LEDBlinky can map u360s (even if you're not using any LEDs) and it works mame32.

Oh, thank you. That also handles my other question/request for the plug-in support for 'other emus'.
