Rom separation in MA

Hello all, a quick question. I am wondering how to get different versions of a rom to appear in Maximus. Let's say for example; I have the Mortal Kombat 3 rom. In Mame32 it shows up as MK3 but subtitled I can play Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 like their different versions stemming from the one rom file. In Maximus it would appear only as mk3 but I prefer ultimate and was wondering how to make that version available without having to do so for all the other games???

so you have clones turned of in MA?
I think you could manually edit that list file after MA creates it, but 'm just guessing

Yeah I've had to turn clones off to get rid off all the other riff raff. Trying to find a way to turn just the Mk3 clones back on...?

I just changed my settings to allow clones to be displayed, rescanned.

Then added 2 versions of Galaga to my favourites.

Disabled clones, rescanned.

Now I have no clones in my games list, but both versions of Galaga in my favourites.

Is this what you want to do with MK?

Hmm - favourites, eh?  I don't think I've seen that setting.  Gotta look into that myself!
