The Versus (non-project concept)
« on: August 11, 2010, 03:20:12 pm »
I've been thinking about cocktail tables, bartops, and other 'less-intrusive' designs for a while.

I started sketching out some ideas and started tinkering with the idea of a large functional 'game table'. Something that would comfortably seat serveral people for card games, board games, roleplaying, etc, with a built in computer/arcade controls.

The center hole is designed to fit an LG 32" 1080p LCD HDTV 32LD450 .

So here's version 1.0. I'll probably tinker with the idea of supporting other gaming activities and modify it further accordingly. I don't really plan on ever building this. I don't have the space. Either way I'm posting it as plans someone could work from if they ever felt inspired to do so.

That's awesome work, man.  Thanks for the inspiration.  You know someone will undoubtedly do something with it.  I do have two words for you, though:  CUP HOLDERS.

Try one of these in your gameroom:
