First off, awesome site. Thanks! :0

Just a suggestion, but another forum I frequent installed the tapatalk plugin so that iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Nokia phones can easily read and post on the board. If you've never heard of it, check it out: http://www.tapatalk.com/ They support SMF with a plug in and it makes the site 100% compatible with smart phones.

I just recently found Tapatalk and would also like to see BYOAC implement it. So I might as well bump this post!

I just set it up on my own SMF forums, and its really easy to do.

Was just able to login fine but it times out loading unread posts.

Does the forum load slow in tapatalk for everyone else? The first time I open it, it takes about 2-3 minutes for all the threads to load

I dunno, mine is pretty fast, and I'm not getting the "sent by" thing everyone else seems to be doing. I'm on a version 5 software blackberry curve.

Are you still working out bugs on this saint? Mine takes forever to load the byoac forums, but other forums, like klov, load pretty quick

I have noticed the same on my Iphone... about every other time it times out completely.

Dunno. There's not really anything to customize or tweak. It's a very small mod. I'll poke around though.

Same problem here. This never happens on the other forums that I use with tapatalk.

I've had better results using board express. It's a reader that is compatible with tapatalk. Dunno if it's available on platforms other than windows phone though.

+1 I always use tapatalk to surf these boards and the unread is way too slow. Other boards work fine, klov, hyperspin, etc.

I don't believe so, if you look at xda developers they have hundreds of new posts a day and loads in 1 second

Really annoying with the timeouts on loading unread posts..

This software (for my iphone) would allow me to not do the following for posting pics:
^{-send to email
-download from email to desktop
-upload from desktop to pic-thread
-embed from pic-thread to actual thread.}
Saves me time $:-\$

behavior's the same here- rgp, klov, etc are fast (and more volume of posts on those) byoac is slow. to keep it from timing out I switch between all, unread and participated until one comes up. This is a low priority for me, don't use it much.

Same problem... tapatalk works for me on other forums, but its so slow on BYOAC that I can't get anything to load. The list of forums loads, but I can't list the messages in a forum, nor can I view "Unread Posts".

Sucks too... reading BYOAC on my phone was the one reason I'd shelled out for the app.

Tapatalk works on BYOAC for PM's but I've never gotten oit to work on the forums. Way too slow. Works fine on other forums though.

Could it be that there is a newer version of the plugin on the forum side that needs installed? It seems to time out when loading the listing of topics, the posting and other functions seem fine. Could it be that the indexes need rebuilt or compacted on the forum?

Its actually usable now! HUGE thanks to Saint and SirWoogie... BYOAC was the reason I paid for Tapatalk on my iPhone in the first place, and I was so disappointed when it didn't work well before. Thanks for the upgrade guys!!!!!
