I've been having issues wiring up 2 SFIV fightstick pcbs to jamma fingerboard for use in my blast city cabinet. The problem so far seems to be that neither pcb is being recognized and assigned as a player/controller (i.e. the player indicator lights on the power ring on the 360 are not lighting up, and no controls are recognized)
Here is basically what I did-
-using 2 360 fightstick pcb's, wired the punch buttons inputs, start inputs, directional inputs, and grounds for button/directional inputs to the corresponding jamma points on the fingerboard
-wired the kick button inputs to cps2 kick harness adapter
-wired some shorter USB cords to the pcbs (no shielded ground just the normal ground, but when I did my fightstick mods I read that wasn't really necessary anyway).
After posting this somewhere else one piece of advice I got was that the controllers may need 'waking up' with the guide button, so I also wired the guide points to the service and test points on the jamma board to use those switches, but that didn't end up working.
Troubleshooting so far-
With the pcbs plugged into the 360 I used a multimeter to do a little diagnosis. continuity between the pins of the usb cable and the corresponding points on both pcbs is solid, and I'm getting 5v between the 5v point and various ground points on the pcb. Also, if I plug the ribbon cable in that connects usbvcc/ground to the remote board with the turbo switch and guide button leds etc, the guide button leds light up while the system is powering on- but eventually go out as the controller is not recognized. I'm assuming all of that shows that the board is being powered up correctly at least, right?

edit:
stupid mistake on my part, went with the first reference I found when trying to remember which usb wire color is d+/d- and of course it was wrong... all is good now
