Hey there everyone. I'm having a strange problem with the forums when I'm at work. I thought I saw a post about someone else with this problem once, but I searched and can't find it now. Anyway...
Whenever I make a new post on this forum at work, the scroll bar in the text window constantly jumps to the top of the window. So I start a post, I type enough text to take up the whole text window, a vertical scroll bar gets created, and instead of the scroll bar staying at the bottom where the cursor is, it always jumps back to the top. The cursor stays on the bottom line, but the scroll bar goes to the top. Then as I type each letter, the scroll bar flashes down to the bottom as I type, but it jumps back up to the top again. So the result is the window just keeps jumping up and down making it impossible to type...
Edit... to be exact, it's not immediately after the scroll bar appears. I have to type like 5 or so extra lines past when the scroll bar appears. So once the text ion the window gets a certain length, it all goes haywire.
Not sure if anyone else has this problem. At home with Firefox I don't have this problem. I am using IE8 here at work. I am a member of several other forums and they all work fine. So it appears its some incompatibility with this forum and this browser (and browser settings) here at work. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to correct this? Or what might be going on?
