I believe most EB (namely EBX) sell them for 30$. I believe they may still have the deal going where you get a 15$ or less game for free when you buy one.

The EB down here sucks. It's tiny and doesn't have much...

I remember stumbling upon 6 dreamcasts systems thrown out behind a Gamestop store.  They were all tagged as "non-functional" for one reason or another.  Some just had an unplugged wire in the power supply.  Others had a controller port blown.

After swapping out parts with eachother, I wound up with 4 dreamcast systems for nothing.  ;D

I've been looking for excuses to do a little dumpster diving...
I've been hearing so many success stories of finding goldmines.
Hm... There's a few Gamestops, etc... around here...
I'm not a freak!...
Oh wait...
Yes I am...

hit some pawn shops, i found my local one had a pile (literaly a pile on the floor) of dreamcasts for 24.99 thats with controller and wires etc, plus a 7 day exchange.

make sure it says "1" nest to the "ntsc" and not "2", 2's cant read cdrs at all, so no music or other burned things can be used in them, luckily the pawn guy was cool and let me get another one with a "1" on it 8)
