Sega Monaco GP Cockpit (North East PA)
« on: March 11, 2010, 05:42:41 pm »
Had a guy deliver this to me today. Looks like it has been converted to free play.

I really dont know what Im going to do with this thing. Anyone interested in any parts?

I also have an extra steering wheel setup from a stand up version with a wood handle shifter and a gas pedal from a Special Criminal Investigation game.

I loved playing Monaco GP at the local theater when I was growing up.  I would love to have that game in Mame so I could play it all the time but I believe this game does not use ROM chips but rather is all done via circuitry only.

The same thing goes for my other favorite game ..... Stunt Cycle.   OH well, at least I have my memories.

Hope you can get it fixed.

I dont even know where to begin to try and fix this thing. Maybe blow the 3 inches of dust off the boards would be a good start.
I obviously dont have the room for it, I took it mainly because it would have been trashed otherwise. I didnt know the condition of it at all.
I was surprised at the overall condition. Even if the game itself wasnt working.

Dang, that's a nice sit down cab, I'd offer to take it off your hands, but I'm nowhere close, and  I don't really have the room for a driving cab either.

Wish I did.
