does anyone know a repository for scummvm walkthroughs?
« on: November 09, 2010, 02:33:36 pm »
I'm making some scummvm videos I hope to share with emumovies and a hyperspin project i'm helping with.. but many of the games make no sense.

Like conquest for camelot, how do I talk to people? grab things? Walkthroughs and instruction manuals would be very helpful, does anyone know a website where they host walkthroughs or instruction manuals?

Text in [] brackets needs to be inputted in the
parser. The parser activates when you press any
letter on the keyboard. If you press SPACE the
last input in the parser will repeat.

looks like a text based game

type in: take clothes

I'll give it a try when I get to play again, but just so you know, you talk to Merlin when you type in text. So I think the text part is just for asking for hints or talking to Merlin, not to take clothes. We'll see.

If i remember playing old text based games, if you just typed words you would talk, but if you typed in commands like "take" or "look" or "use" you would do commands

The old Sierra games had pretty funny responses if you used profanity or told characters to do bad things.  ;D
