Here's a photo of the finished coin door, with the rivets installed on the logo plate.   As I said, the 3/32" x 7/64" rivets from Marco Specialties are an absolutely perfect fit here.   I really didn't do anything special to install them at all,  I just put the door face-down on a strip of steel that I had, and expanded the backside by beating the rivet with an old phillips head screwdriver and a hammer.  Not the prettiest thing on the back,  would probably have looked nicer with a big nail to expand them, but they are nice and snug and the front looks fine too.    If someone was to do this a lot, I would suggest a proper rivet press, but I doubt I'll be doing this job again.   I re-used the existing logo plate that I already had, it is a bit scratched up, but I just felt it was "right" to keep the original piece on there instead of going with a re-pop.  Oh, and that's just sawdust in the coin return, it is fully painted in there.

I also got off my lazy duff and built the holder for the coin box.  I've seen so many photos of different ways that this was done, that I just said "F#*K IT" and whipped up something to my own specifications.  You don't see it from the outside anyway, and it's not like this is an original cabinet as it is, so I'm not too worried here.   Either way it's nice and solid, the bucket fits perfectly, and I haven't had a coin drop outside the bucket yet.  I did offset it a bit to the right by about 1cm in order to give room for the wiring harness so as I don't pinch it when closing the coin door.  I'd love to find a divider for it, but I'm not going to go crazy looking for one.

Next step is going to be repairing the side wood and then laminating.

Finished up the last coupe of touches to the internal wiring, and got off my butt to put the dip switch banks back onto the board.
Of course, Gallag apparently has a different layout to what the switches adjust that I still have to figure out...... but at least I have the switches there again.

Compare it to how the wiring used to look.

Long time since the last update, but a couple weeks ago I finally got started working on the laminate.   I managed to get the front and top done in the white,  next step is to start patching up the side panels to ready it for the black laminate.
