Fighting Force recommendation and questions
« on: October 25, 2010, 01:49:21 pm »
Hi!

Get out my original Fighting Force PC CD from the chest, and found a patch for make it woring in XP32 (and maybe 64 and Win7, not tested yet...)

So, I patched the game and connected an arcade stick to the machine. Some experiences if somebody left the game:

If you have an arcade stick first of all you get the best gaming experience in this game of course, but this isn't the last thing:

configure LP - Punch | MP - kick | HP - backfist | LK - Run | MK - Jump | HK - Camera

Now, if you play from the stick press all the tree punch button - this is the pause with exit option
or press the LP+MP+LK+MK for killer combo, very easy to do.

PC version offers any resolution with D3D stretch and CD audio music. Unfortunately, there is no save game, but the game is very short, an hour or two far enough to finish it.

My question: is there really no save option in PC version?

I found both the PSX and PC version have some freezes/bugs but I am able to finish the game if not hang. PSX is with lower graphic res so PC is even better except the missing saving option.
