Chupacabra means "goat sucker" in Spanish, and it is said to have originated in Latin America, specifically Puerto Rico and Mexico.

I'm appalled that there's people in this day and age that believed in that stupid legend.  And American no less.

Pitiful.
I'll exercise patience when you stop exercising stupidity.

ummmmmm...

It was also called chupasangre (blood sucker) for awhile, but that name died off at least 10 years ago.

Spanish terms are often very direct.... just like English.

Doorman?  A guy that's a door?  Oh, wait, a man that opens doors.  You wanna make fun of language quirks, it goes both ways. ;D

true. coulda been worse. coulda been blower, not sucker  ;D
