Can anyone ID this monitor?
« on: June 19, 2005, 04:38:30 pm »
I am having some trouble finding out what kind of cap kit to buy for this monitor. I have looked through every single monitor on Bob Roberts monitor ID page with no luck, and it doesn't have any identifying number tags on it (at least from what I can tell)

There are 2 stickers on one of the heat sinks:
One with the barcode reads - WG 6005855
One right below that reads

If you go to www.wellsgardner.com and click on "Tech Info" on the right side of the screen, then click on "Release Number Breakdown", you'll find out everything you want to know on your monitor.

In a nutshell, you have a 19" horizontal ("shelf") mount k7200 series. Be aware that there are TWO versions of the k7200 and each version uses a different capkit. Since this is a current production model, you need to call the parts department at Wells-Gardner (1-800-336-6630 or 708-290-2100) to buy a capkit. The technicians will be able to tell you how to distinguish if you have a regular 7200 or the "Rev A" 7200.

Wells part numbers for the two different capkits are:

S-KIT CAP K72 (for the k7200)

S-KIT CAP 72A (for the Rev A k7200)

I believe these sell for around $12 each kit.

The k7200 series service/parts manual (which covers both versions) is part number 069X2848-100.
