Yes MultiFe was last updated a few years ago because I have moved on to other none arcade projects, property creating games for mobil phones today (music for Jungool, Code for Greedy Mouse).

So I have not worked on MultiFe very long time (domain still exists) and I think I have now discounted it and will never have time to fix last remains bugs (but still think its works as intended and really no need to add other features and is nearly complete).

But I also around my birthday (24/7) planning to release MultiFE as a fully Open Source project instead, which was wrote in BlitzMax, even there require some code clean op, mixing some danish and english variables and such thing. Howover I do cant release the PureBasic dll part, which launch the games it self, since I have lost the source code for that (its only smaller one throught).

I would also dont mind at all, if MultiFE features is incorpted in a another Frontend such like GameEX and MalaFE, speciel that what way I listing games, so its was easier to been found and start it, and I collected all versions from the same game into its own folder, so you dosen't see one line list and I diddent like just to remove clones. Instead removing clones I simply used titel names to check if its was the same game and then moved all clones with same names to that, so people could choice from its subfolder.

Listing like that was directly reason I remember why I dedicated to turn MultiJuke as MultiFE. Actuelly its was a Jukebox software with a game frontend, not the other way, so its Jukebox features is still very strong and complete, and MultiFE can still works with other frontends for listing to music (here all game frontend is just disabled), example using the good old Mamewah.

I hope see something like that in other frontends, so with other word I did add frontend features in MultiFE for a easier listings of games and its even worked fine with TOSEC names scremes as well removing numbers from a typical Gameboy Advance.

I also included a utilty to remove all games you could not play anyway with your controlpanel (example removing TNMT 4 player, if you only have 2 player controlpanel). I do known there exists a really nice separate utility for that today throught for nearly all frontends.

So all in all this post should just inspirere to get better listing of games in thier frontend, even I have not looked what happens since few years.
Decade Old Work: MultiFE, ArcadeMusicBox
Today Works: Various Spectrum Next games from Rusty Pixels and html5 games.
