Launching Gens from mamewah
« on: July 13, 2003, 12:55:49 am »
Hey everyone,

I am trying to launch gensFE from mamewah for sega genesis.  The game launches, I hear sound but I do not get any picture -- there is black window in the background of windows.

Anyone know a solution??  What did you do to get gens to run?

It works great if I launch through gensFE w/o mamewah first.

Thanks in advance

Emulator Title = Sega Genesis
Logo Image Filename = C:\emu\Screenshots\top logos\genesis top.jpg
'No Snapshot' Image Filename = C:\emu\Screenshots\top logos\genesis nosnap.jpg
Emulator Executable = C:\emu\SegaGenesis\wgens211\gensFE.exe
Default Options =
Extra Options #1 =
Extra Options #2 =
Show DOS Box = 1
Send ROM Path = True
Use Long Filenames = False
Send ROM Extension = True
DAT Filename =
NMS Filename =
CatVer Filename =
ROM Path = C:\emu\SegaGenesis\roms
ROM Extension = ZIP
List Generation Method = 0
Hope this helps.

It sounds like the romname is not being sent correctly...did you check these:

Send ROM Path = True
Use Long Filenames = False
Send ROM Extension = True

I think Long Filenames can be either way from memory...
