MESS and mamewah anyone?
« on: June 15, 2003, 06:30:46 pm »
I would love to get MESS going with Mamewah for A7800, Ti-99, etc. I have tried the dos version of Mess but am getting no where. Has anyone had any luck?

Last time I tried MESS it was.... well... a mess.   Can you get it working without MAMEWAH?   That would be the first goal then after that I might have a few ideas if you just want MAMEWAH to work with it since I don't think it will be that easy.  MESS had a peculiar command string to launch a game If I recall.

I got mess to work.  The problem is that it is a poor emulator of 5200 and 7800 games.  What problems are you having?

yes I can get it to work outside of mess although I use the Windows version for that.

Did you get Mess to work in Mamewah? If so can you tell me how you set it up?

No I use EMUTRON.  I use the command line something like
mess -a7800 -cart c:\roms\a7800\defender.rom

Can you check the command line for me. I can not get it to work like that.
