I'm going crazy!!! Please help if you can...

I'm having trouble selecting games to play using Game Launcher.  I'm pretty sure I configured it properly but something is obviously wrong.  When I start gamelauncher (I just double-click the .exe file from windows explorer) it loads up fine - my roms are all listed and the top one (1942) is highlighted and by hitting the "1" key I am able to play it.  It's only when I try to scroll down the list that it won't let me.  I actually figured out that if I move my mouse down VERY quickly it highlights all the different games but once the mouse stops moving it always returns to 1942.  It's still impossible to select what I want.  Any ideas?

Anyone?  I'm running the current version of mame - could running an older version solve anything?

I tried it but I wasn't sure what I was doing so I stopped.  Perhaps this will help.  I will give it a shot.  Thanks.  Could it be that Gamelauncher no longer works properly with the current version of mame?

It could have something to do with the xml stuff in the newer versions of MAME, but I don't know since I use MAME .79.  Try using GameLauncher with a version of MAME before xml was used and see if that works.

I'll give that a shot too - My wife's 30th is today so last night after work I was shopping and then wrapping gifts so I didn't have time to try and fix the GL problem I'm having.  Tonight I will actually be spending time with her instead of my byoac obsession - I'll be twitching through dinner the entire time though...
