Another Name that Game
« on: September 07, 2004, 02:10:49 pm »
Okay, I have a game that I've been looking for.

I used to play this game back in the early to mid 90's.  It's a baseball game that featured all the major league teams and players as well as an all-star team from each league.  I remember specifically Ken Griffey Jr. and Eddie Murray being in the game, and if you won or lost, a newspaper would appear on screen with the proper headline describing the win/loss and I think it had the score on it.  I also remember that if you were batting with Griffey or Murray or any really good hitter, you could hit a home run just by pulling back on the joystick and hitting the button at the right time.  And the game would scroll "HOMERUN" across the top of the screen as well as say "HOMERUN".  If I remember right, you also had to pay per inning or per 3 innings or something like that.

Anybody know specifically which baseball game this was?

It could have been hardball, but it's been a while.  =)

No, it wasn't an NES game.  It was in the arcade (and not an NES arcade game either).
