Please help name my arcade cabinet I am building :)
« on: July 15, 2004, 08:16:13 am »
I am building a 4 player cabinet that will play consoles and PC games.  What do you think a good name would be?  All information will be available on my website, http://www.ddreastcoast.com and pics of the project will be made available soon.  Thanks!

Gatorcade...game quencher...is it in you?
Just kidding ;D
What kind of theme(artwork and whatnot) are you looking for, this will help the naming process along, or is that open for suggestion as well?

Yeah I'm in the same boat. Trying to think of a theme... I'll probably end up with just "MAME".

NO MORE!!

The cabinet will be all black, as it is now, although the slikstik formica is a light black.  The marquee image would contain the name of the cabinet/project.  The idea of the cabinet is that it is 4 players and can play Playstation and Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, Mame, PC games and any emulator for PC.

BIGCHEESE
yellow t-molding on the sides, sideart of a sinister looking rat in a gangster suit, blowing the smoke off the barrel of a arcade lightgun.

"Generi-cab!"

Since it doesn't sound very distinctive, BUT will play practically ANYTHING!

Here's one I've been toying with, but decided not to use. Imagine if you will .....

MyScore  ... The Ultimate Reunion Cab

Score , of course having two meanings ... Score ( twenty years of classic games ) & Score ( check out my HighScore , mofo )  ;D

And last but not least ...." Can you beat , My Score ? "   ;)

Try it on for size, and make a theme from it.
