I used to make fun of soccer until I read somewhere that the average 3 hour baseball game contains 9 minutes of actual play.

Its deserves all the abuse that you can lavish upon it.

i think if you could sit thru a soccer or baseball game sober without falling asleep you should get a medal. i went to a baseball game a few years ago and was bored out of my mind until i started drinking. and wouldn't you know it as soon as i started having fun these two nice guys gave my a cool set of braclets and then gave me a ride to a hotel. it was a wierd hotel though because it had doors that were made of bars and cold metal beds. at about 5 am they told me i had to leave because i was sober . well at least going to jail was better than sitting thru another minute of that game.
