TAME Cabinet ---- Finished!

After about 6 hours of planning (okay a lot more if you count all of the hours of time at work looking at this site), 16 hours of labor, and 5 trips to Home Depot and the local hardware store, I'm done!!

The cabinet is an old Centipede cabinet that was converted to Big Event Golf.  I ended up buying a Kangaroo control panel so I could mount the trackball in the center.

It is a joy to play and now all of my friends want one...oh boy!

I want to thank the following people who helped make this happen including:

1.  The BYOAC community - for their many answers to questions that had been asked many times before and yet I never received a snooty response.

2. Peter J.T. Mathis [wolf@cbpu.com] - for the $30 cab

3. Jason, Mike and Jim (ebay name  DMPTRK) - for being a great local source for arcade parts, including joysticks, buttons, marquees, cabinets, and control panels.

Had the marquee done by http://www.classicarcadegrafix.com.  The guy who runs it is a stand up guy.  I mis-typed the dimensions the first time and he reprinted it for free.

I'll take some pics of the control panel later and post them.  Notice the use of the classic Atari cone buttons?  I'm using them for P1&P2 start and coin buttons.  I also have two mounted on the underside for escape and pause (which also acts as the shift key on my minipac).
