Hi all,

Just got my ship date as an airfield systems apprentice in the United States Air Force. I leave April 20th.

Any other airmen or military here? Just curious.

The single worst attack on U.S. soldiers in the Gulf War killed 28 national guard support soldiers (non fighting).   Just because someone pilots a desk doesn't mean it's safe.

Ignore jim.  He is the type of --cream-filled twinkie-- who would have less respect for some types of service vs others.  Fortunately he represents a small sample here if not a sample of one.

I was USAF during the first gulf war, serving at Holloman AFB.  I was asked to go back after 911 now I do supply for the military.  I'm to old & fat to do the stuff back in 91
