Doesn't look like an R2 at all. More like a C3PO.

while at war with multiple countries and with a ruff economy I think we need to park the damn shuttle and their projects for a bit already.

I remember in the 80's each time it went up or came back for the landing it was a big deal.

they use to gather the whole school up just to watch it take off and land while on tv.

now it seems like there coming and going weekly and at time like this being at war and a bad economy we dont need to be going back and forth so often or pretty much weekly for that matter.

I mean the science of it and what we learn from it is great but for the cost at times like this there is better things to spend the money on plus they dont really let anyone know what is really going on up there.

when they say there installing a air sealed shitter chamber or somethig silly that is not the only thing their doing or taking they just use certain things to make it look like O were just doing a tuneup for two weeks no big deal guys when we all know what there saying and what there actually doing are two very different things otherwise the public would have full access to there files.

I think we should stop the wars and keep exploring. If all the problems at home had to be fixed before any exploration could be done, Christopher Columbus would've never left England.

Yeah, but Spain finally financed him.   ;)

It's no Pine Barrens (S03E11).

The Native Americans are going to protest the Columbus Day parade and Silvio, Bobby, and a group of others get pissed off about it.  It's pretty funny.   Tony doesn't appreciate their intervention.  Ralph Cifaretto has a good scene with the leaders of the Native Americans (if I remember correctly).

Paulie and Chris have some classic moments.   :D

You only hear about that, not see it (and I think that was the art dealer that said that, not Janice)

I was thinking:

Ralph + Janice + Strap-on

Richie + Janice + Handgun

if we leave there would be no gas to explore with after they light all the fields on fire like they were ordered to do.

so in the meantime we have to baby sit and protect the world's main supply.

How many billions did it cost us?  How close did it get us to worthwhile space exploration?

Of course, we can't actually send -people- anywhere other than the moon with current technology (well, not easily, and if you actually want them back).

(Don't get me wrong...I'd sign up for the mission)

Pretty soon, NASA will not even have transportation, and they'll use the former USSR's rockets (which are more cost efficient and reliable anyway). That has to hurt I'm sure....

We should give all the NIH money to nasa and develop rockets to shoot all the fat/sick people into space.

I'm sure that would be legal in Arizona.

Space exploration....pfft, whatev

We have reached our limits & lost all reason to travel space other than to mine Helium-3 & even then we are better & more efficient on the ground in a lab creating optical black holes for solar panels to utilize 100% of that damn cosmic space radiation...er sunshine I mean. Other solar systems are so far away that we would have to replicate ourselves during transit a few million times & then support that cloned life by using recyclable water/food/air while flying spaceships utilizing perpetual motion. We cant even maintain a fiat currency without inflation so that ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- aint happening.

& for what? Our planet wont even exist to get the message or results.

To truly travel space we need another stoner like Carl Sagan doing math & working @ CERN.....thats where we make it happen. Getting all baked & pranking other dimensions with your graviton cell phone.

Wait is this the thread about Big Buck Hunter?
