Please help with Cherry master Monitor
« on: December 17, 2009, 07:14:25 pm »
So i saw saw someone selling a used 19 inch, arcade, tri sinc, vga monitor for 75$ and i got it. Diddnt even do any research about the monitor. proby a bad idea.

Well it seems its a cherry master monitor from 8 liner gambling games. I got the monitor and have no idea how to plug it in? :( i guess maybe it did not come with the plug cord, but even if i had one i would have no idea where to plug it in.

I plan on using it for MAME. I took some pictures, if someone could help me out i would be super gratfull!

That's your power cord.

Well, typically the machine would have had a power supply like the second one you posted and the monitor power cord would have just plugged in to the three pin molex connector on it.
But you don't need that whole power supply just to power the monitor. All you need to do is adapt a standard power cord to it like you would plug into your wall. (say from an old PC power cord or something) Half a dozen ways to do it, just depends on your skill level, etc.
