Maximum Force sound problems
« on: November 23, 2009, 12:00:42 pm »
I picked up a maximum Force last week & the machine is having sound issues.  I have to turn the machine on/off 5 to 6 times to get the sound to work, also on powering up the game there are some graphics issues that go away in a bit.  There is not a lot to this machine, I am afraid the problem is in the main board, does anyone else have ideas on where to look.
thanks
gary

Maximum Force maybe ?

What's your 5v sitting at on the power supply with the board running ?

Check all your voltages.  And check them as soon as you've turned on the machine after leaving it NOT running for a while.  I'm betting the power supply caps have dried up.

And as an experiment, also try turning it on and leaving it on for 15 minutes instead of power cycling it several times.
