Verizon dsl

I can't really trust them with these questions so maybe someone here can help.

Right now I have OLO 768K Annual Plan 30df for 19.99 a month and can get the starter plan with up to 1mbps/384mbps for the same price, or so I'd like to believe.  Does anyone know if that is the price for the intro offer or if that's the cost per month regardless?  If its the same price I can just switch it out.

Thanks.

384 Mbps? I assume you mean kbps for the upstream. Regardless, if they call it a starter package, then it usually means it is for a limited time, then they will charge you more. I dont go through Verizon for my DSL (I use GWI) and get the 10 mbps/1mbps service for 60 a month. (actually cheaper now, the 15mbps is now 60 a month). Is he reason why you are going for such a low bandwidth to save money or because you are too far away from the nearest switch?
--- Yes I AM doing this on purpose, and yes I DO realize it is pissing you off.

Yes I meant Kb my mistake.  I'm trying to save money since I really don't need the best connection but if the price is the same I figure I could take advantage of the plan.  I might have to ask them about it (though I can't stand their customer service) since for my current plan there is a rate progression chart whereas for the starter it just lists the one price.  I'm assuming they purposefully show what I've paid for my current plan and for all others limit such information in hopes of getting me to switch so they can inflate rates, but I might be needlessly paranoid.

Call them pretending to be a new customer and ask about the rates and how long the starter rates will last...
