It's coming into fashion. People want names without various cultural taboos, stereotypes, etc. To a certain degree, it is a legitimate conceptual development.

OMG, you're really really really really really really really really really really really really really smart!  One must admit, though, that to some degree this conceptual development is clearly an illegitimate one.
