Best 4-way joystick?
« on: October 31, 2009, 05:49:51 pm »
I'm beginning to assemble the list of components for my control panel. I was planning on getting Happ Supers for my dedicated 4-way, but I just realized that they don't actually have a physical restrictor. Now I'm leaning towards the Happ Ultimate for 4-way. What do you suggest?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

I purchased one of these through TT per Ginsu's recommendation. I don't think I'll be disappointed. I've yet to hook it up, but the joystick not only looks great, but the movement feels good as well. Overall a great 4-way pac-man replica for $20.

What about something that would have bat-shaped handle? Is the Happ Super the best I can do? How well do they work for 4-way?

Thanks. Some people go for form over function.  ;)
