Buying arcade monitors
« on: September 23, 2009, 04:54:57 pm »
After finally getting my arcade cab all up and running, the monitor decides to blow up :(

It was a 20" Hantarex POLO monitor. The transformer has gone. It throws out sparks and makes a nice burning smell!

Does anyone know where to buy arcade monitors from (in the UK)? I've had a cursory surf, but not really found anything.

Go the tube swap and 8liner chasis route.  It's probably your best bet.

I know of someone in the UK with 800+ new 27/29" monitors, I think he has some other sizes too. I can't get his contact details up as I'm at work but I'll post them later.
