UltraMap Errors

I'm using the latest version of UltraMap for my U360, however it seems to be ignoring options passed to it:

From my MAMEwah log file;

c:\program files\ultramap\ultramap.exe c:\mame\ugc\dkong.ugc /errorgui:1

This from my understanding SHOULD display an error message for one second and dismiss it (as there is no "dkong.ugc" file.  However, the dialog box remains until I dismiss it.  Is there something I am doing wrong?
