Anything in Dallas?
« on: August 26, 2009, 11:37:35 pm »
Was at the auction a few weeks ago in Dallas.  I've been trying to find a couple more generic $50 cabs.  I've got monitors and harnesses.  I just need some cheap cabs.  Ideas?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

My friends said the Super Auction SUCKED this time.

Check Craigslist daily. I see good stuff on there for DFW all the time.

What annoyed me the most was that people bid up for no reason.  There were literally like 10 buyers and a bunch of people there to bid knowing they'd be outbid.

those 40 in 1 units were going for 1k

We made off with 4 units.  We were hoping for a bunch more.  I remember going to one of these and getting 4 cabs for $50 once.

Are you just looking for empty ones? Its just wierd because I'm 5 hours away in Lubbock and there is a guy who trashes cabs left and right. We got 3 from him for free and just sold off parts that were left on there. I just can't see paying more than $30 on an empty one.
