I am runin a real UMK3 arcade then i add
J-PAC
ATI Radeon series 9200

I am using mame.exe  for now . Is that one a good one to use on a arcade , becuase i have hyerspin for it and mame
I just want to know if mame.exe is the best to use ?

what is the best way to to confi the controls for it ?

Yes, command line MAME is best used when using a frontend. 

The real question is what version of MAME are you using?  Once you are in MAME you hit TAB and then you can configure your buttons.
