Do you know what this machine is / was
« on: July 17, 2009, 05:38:21 pm »
Hi,

I received this cab in a trade today dos anyone know what it was or used to be? I have basically been told it is too large to keep so I might have to look to get shot of it unless I can slim it down some how but it look really well built pinned and all that jazz would I be able to pull it apart or would that just kill it?

Cheers

OK i have been stood looking at this machine for 20 mins now If I could slim it down I could fir it into the shed and keep it there, I would need to cut it in half in terms of depth with it being pinned is this a task that can be done has any one had success doing something like that?

i dont know what it originaly was, but i like the shape of that cabinet...very cool.  you may be able to slim it down a little, but that could end up being alot of  work.  you might be better off using that cabinet as a template and trying to build a new, slimmer one based off of that design.

That looks like a Dynamo cabinet IIRC. One of the later ones. You could chop it down but you would have to worry about adding in wood for support so it doesn't fall apart.
Where's my gold star :P
