WGU2000 Help.....
« on: July 11, 2009, 05:34:47 pm »
Got an NFL Blitz machine a few days ago with PCB issues, but the monitor was fine, until one day I made the moronic decision to plug up a 2slot neo mobo. Since then the cab powers on but the monitor doesn't come on. I checked the fuse and it hasn't blown, so does anyone have an idea what the issue could be. Thanks for the help.

Plugging in another PCB shouldn't kill a monitor, though if it is indeed dead it's probably coincidental.

Are you sure the monitor isn't working?  Say, the power supply decided to commit suicide or something.  Does it play blind?

Nah it doesn't play blind....If I could swap the tube to use it in a K7000 I would, but I know the tube isn't compatible. As far as the power supply goes it works and powers on but I'm not sure about the ISO transformer. I should check that when I get a chance.

OK I hooked up a different PCB and it plays blind. Is there a certain thing on the chassis I should check, I know the U2000 is one of the worst chassis Wells Gardner has produced.

At least the tube is good, so should I spring for another chassis or just put in a totally different monitor? Thanks for the help.

Is it clicking?  If not, check the B+.
