I am running windows xp with mame on a 233 mhz 64 mb edo ram !!!

I get no slow down on the older games ( space invaders, pac man etc.. )

I used xp because windows 98 kept crashing like every 1 minute!! I think its incompatable with my motherboard.

Just thought i would tell you all! I think its cool that its working so fast!

I didn't knew that 233mhz were enough to run XP...


Does it rum fine, are you having "windows task" problems? It seems to weird for me! I'm thinking about Win 95 to my future cab! Or even Linux...  :)

Well on windows 98 it was like, it would load up, i would do some  things and then it would just crash  >:( so i restart and it would  do it again and again and again, i tried all different things, maybe the cpu was overheating but no, the soundcard? no, the cpu? no so i stuck linux in but damn it lags on it lol, so now im running windows xp and it runs fine ( windows classic theme ) now im happy cuz damn windows 98 was really doing my head in  ::)

Just gotta install my tv in card so i can run a playstation on it too ( for tekken 3 etc.. )
