FS: Pair of ACT-Labs Light Guns [US/CA/Pasadena]
« on: June 22, 2009, 01:46:36 am »
***PRICE DROP 6/23/09***

For Sale: a pair of fully working, hardly used Act Labs PC CRT Light Guns

I messed around with them a little bit & got them to work perfectly with the Act Labs test software.  I never got them working in MAME 115 for me, but that's no surprise (do a search on my name & you'll see how many "I'm clueless in setting up software & peripherals" posts I've made!).  Then, when I got smoked glass in front of my monitor, they ceased registering shots, so I got a pair of EMS TopGun II IR guns.

So, I barely used these Act Labs guns--certainly not for any heated gameplay whatsoever!   :)

Asking $120 OBO shipped to USA.  Will consider trades for console items.  See what I collect & have already: http://infernolab.com/forsale/vids/Jason's%20Video%20Games.xls

Still in original packaging (never had proper packaging, just the cardboard boxes shown) & with all documentation.  I also have more files on-line (all the files in the light gun test folder on my PC).

What you get:

Player 1 gun:

Player 2 gun (different from player 1 gun--has player number select switch!):

Player 1 light gun box, which plugs into a USB port & your gun & in line with your monitor:

Player 2 light gun box, which plugs into a USB port & your gun & in line with your monitor (this is different from the player 1 box!):

Documentation & receipt showing that I spent $178.99 for these on 12/14/06:

I'll give you $85 for the pair. I can't do any more because I'll have to buy new guns (plus I get wholesale pricing).

Just let me know,
Mike

Howdy-

Thanks for the offer, but a single gun went for $50-something on eBay not long ago (can't find the completed auction page now--must've been deleted recently), so I think that a pair, with the rarer (I think) player 2 box would be worth about twice that.

I'd definitely go for $100 shipped, if you can do that.

Thank you,
-Jason

FYI, the going rate for a pair of Act-Labs guns seems to be $127.50, including shipping.

Thanks,
