Who's Ed?

Ed McMahon was mostly an American celebrity, known mostly for being the sidekick of Johnny Carson on NBC's The Tonight Show. In the 80's, he hosted the talent search program "Star Search", co-hosted "Bloopers and Practical Jokes", and was also featured in commercials for the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes.

His famous "Heeeeeeeeeere's Johnny!" from the Tonight Show is, of course, famously parodied by Jack Torrence in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining.

Ahhh .. got ya.

Still wouldn't know him if I saw a picture of him, but I guess we have 'BIG' celeberaties over here that if died would mean nothing to you guys (and just as less to me!).

I know the "HHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE'SSSSSS.........." line in 'the sining', but to be very honest, I never knew it was from somewhere!!!

It was doctor-assisted suicide. He had nothing to live for after having his arcade collection auctioned off.
NO MORE!!

It was the loss of his Virtual Boy that hit him hardest.
