My Cab art. What do you guys think? (Arcade of the dead)

Trust me...its not as hard as you think...being new to woodworking is intimidating...I was the same way...but after i forced myself to just "do it" i don't regret it...It feels good to come to my house and see "my second child"...Now, I am like "Bring it ON!"...Next month I'm going to try to restore a cab...

all joking aside...seriously Damien...Do it, you wont believe how proud it will make you feel.

I really like this idea i'v been stuck on ideas for the front as im not using a coindoor so thought it would be a bit plain but i might give this a go and see how it looks

Of course, if you want to go all out, you'd have to install a window, board it up, put a zombie inside, some green light, a fog machine, and a solenoid that knocks on the inside.

Got nothing to do tomorrow so it will be ready for artwork as soon as you've got it, and now i can work on my (obviously going to be better than yours) cab!!! YAY

This artwork is incredibly good.  Nice work.  I like the changes you made to the marque text, and I have to say the nose indentation and hand prints are great touches.  No comments on the videos right now since work blocks them.

OK so I have been working on some themes for hyperspin and this is what i have done so far

(sorry for the crappy capture lol)
since this video i have removed the blue pointer and all the video overlays.
All the background images are Desktop wallpapers i found odd google with the blood splats added by me  I have tried to keep animation to a min to keep it less cartoonie. also there is very little difference between themes so that overall it looks less messy.
I plan to edit all the console logos to make them look bloody lol

Not a fan of the Horror/Zombie Genre, but i can appreciate one hell of a good looking cab! Fantastic work right there

I think it's a great theme to go with. This was my initial idea also although I have not pursued it now.  I grabbed lots of ideas together at the time, maybe a couple of these may inspire you further.

For the intro I had in mind using a sound bed of radio tuning as it has an odd feel like this -> [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYZjYoSxRfk[/youtube]

Perhaps some cheap grindhouse crackly sound/picture and comforting music. Short intro of that combined with fast break point/cut scenes with the above thrown in in short bursts and the odd zombie scene for good measure ->
