Marital bliss...
« on: June 03, 2009, 09:37:30 pm »
saint and wife went out tonight and had a great time. She ripped my earlobe. I ripped her gi and then elbowed her in the head. Then we went out for blizzards. A good time was had by all!

Sounds fun, at least the blizzard part.

A couple of weeks ago the wife and I celebrated 20 loooonnngggg years of marriage. We went to see "The Last House on the Left" at the dollar cinema. Rather dull in comparison.
Old, but not obsolete.

Gee, I wonder if Saint will drag out this mystery like he did the alleged train track teaser.  ;)

My point was I don't remember much from that show. "I don't know" was the only one. That show was a long time ago, and I outgrew it quickly.

Ironically, I read the title as "Martial Bliss," and was not surprised by the content.  It's after reading the thread that I noticed that my brain had a freudian slip.

I was at a Hapkido seminar years ago, taught by a 5th-dan guy from Mississippi and his 3rd-dan wife.    As we were warming up after lunch, he was monologuing and noted that people had asked him if having a black belt wife ever got weird at home.  His reply: "Nah.  I taught her everything she knows, not everything _I_ know."

I didn't even like the show. But at times, I was ---smurfing--- bored, and waiting for cartoons to come on. Or, for some odd reason, my brother was watching the show, and he had the remote, and so I was tortured. But some ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- I just remember. I mean, the show coulda been FUNNY....and, admittedly, they did broach some semi-risque stuff....anyways....
