Very small T-molding
« on: June 05, 2009, 12:52:46 pm »
I'm looking for very narrow T-molding, 0.25" wide or so would be perfect.

The problem is as follow: I did ask the guys at T-molding.com about it and they could order 250 feet of 9/32" wide T-molding in either black, white or brown. But at 0.27$US/foot this is way more than what I want to pay for adding T-Molding to a small cabinet.

Outwater Plastics Industries also has 9/32" wide T-molding in the same colors, but for only 0.17$US/foot. The problem is, they also have a minimum order of 250 feet and a 3-4 weeks manufacturing time. I don't mind waiting, but again that 250 feet minimum is a killer. I know it "only" amounts to 42.50$US + about 25$US shipping but I don't like ordering 250 feet when I only need 6-8 feet. Not to mention that shipping 8 feet wouldn't cost 25$US.

So my question is, does anyone know where to order 1/4~9/32" wide T-molding in small lengths? Even a minimum order of 20-25 feet would be reasonable.

Maybe someone here did order 250 feet of it and is now looking to sell parts of it?

Why don't you talk to the sellers in BST? They might think it worthwhile to buy and hold such small T-Molding to sell to the community over time. You might convince one of them to sell your 250' less what you use on commission. They might even have some in stock.

Who knows until you ask?

I'm sorry, I'm a bit new here. What's BST?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.
