Top Mounted U360 Question
paulscade:
I went for top mounting all my sticks.

Yes, I'll have to remove ALL the wiring quickconnects and ALL the buttons.
Yes, it's going to be a giant pain in the @#$% if I ever have to replace them but it's not the end of the world.
My thinking was that I wanted to use the stick as it was designed... without needing to extend shafts. Extending the shaft and bottom mounting (great solution if you expect to replace it in the future) moves the pivot point of the stick lower giving the stick a different feel.
So... not so stupid of a question...
For me... top mount = pain later, bottom mount = different feel. I chose the former.

I have my u360 top mounted and any repairs can still be performed from under side as long as your cp opens or you have access.
example I just replaced the small washers, I removed the pcb, removed magnet, removed e-clip joy pops out, put new washer on and reasemble, all from the underside. no problems.

How deep did you router?
