Are you sure the card is seated properly? Maybe the problem is the voltage, but I would check that the card is seated probperly and that you didn't knock anything else loose in the process. (IDE cables, etc)

Do you get anything at all on the screen? How about a beep? Does the screen turn a color?

wasn't this just discussed?

did you look at the FAQ on the ulimarc site regarding not posting/booting (it's also included as a PDF on your driver disc that came with it)

i'll dig up the last convo about this.... BLAMMO previous thread

PS if you think it's the ultimarc card... (after trying alan's advice above) shlop in a different card and if it boots... well then now you can concentrate on why the AVGA didn't work. If it still doesn't boot... well you got a different problem...

Is it booting/posting at all?  Any speaker beeps?  Check IDE cables as mentioned before (backwards cables ALWAYS get me...)... check ram to be sure it's seated... uh... *shrug*...

Can someone please answer the question of wether the card is 1.5 or 3.3 volts... I have checked the cables, the wiring, etc... I have checked everything... The motherboard has an onboard video also, that works fine, but plug in the ArcadeVGA and nothing, no post, no beeps, nothing...

Do you get a fan spinning up or ANYTHING? What I'm getting at is maybe your computer is working fine and you can't tell because your AGP slot isn't activated in BIOS. Lots of times the BIOS will let you designate the primary video source. This may be AGP, PCI, or onboard.

If you get a fan spinning up (and hopefully you can hear the hard drive clicking away) then I would suggest this is your problem. If so, rather than turning it off just try switching your monitor cable back over to the onboard video while it's still running. If you get picture then it sounds like you need to mess with the bIOS settings.

oy vey... why don't you email Andy directly if you are having a problem with his product (and apparently can't be bothered to  figure out the answer on your own, clearly... ::) )

Or post on the ultimarc message board...

BTW what SPECIFIC asus motherboard... there's more than one model you know...  another thread of interest w/details.... *shrug*
