Full MK3 Sideart Review!
« on: January 08, 2013, 02:42:53 am »
This is not the terrible gameongrafix one. This is totally new. Here is the background on how it came to be...

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=258422&highlight=full+dedicated

Just got this test print from Rich at ThisOldGame.com. He wanted to send me the very first print since I was the one who sent HIM the artwork file. Dimensions and line-up were PERFECT straight out of the gate!

Original factory art...

The test print that Rich sent me...

Test print applied....

Here's the video...

...Opinions?

Looks pretty good. Not sure if this is your camera with the lighting but the repro looks dark to me. The colors of her outfit (black and purple) seem to bleed together. Hard to tell them apart. over all seems to be darker.... but it looks really good otherwise I like it.

Just my two cents

John

Looks good.  Some of shao kahn's detail has been lost, look at the lower left.

Yes. The colors on the test print are a bit darker, but that's because of the lighting that they used at the digital photo lab. I think for what it is, and because something of this caliber hasn't been available until now, it's pretty good. Thanks for your comment. I thought the same thing.
