For the past few days now, I've been attempting to get NullDC running on my arcade machine, using my existing frontend (GameEx) as an interface. At first, things booted fine, but the games would occasionally have video glitching and system crashes. I fixed this problem by switching the video plug-in on the NullDC interface to NullPVR. Having done that, everything runs fine when using the emulator alone. However, booting through GameEx causes two problems:
1. The screen is blank, but sound is heard. (I assume that this can be solved by switching the "display desktop" to "yes," but I've yet to try it yet.)
2. The emulator only boots the most recent game played, regardless of what game you choose from the list in GameEx. I suspect that this is a NullDC setting, as the first title in the boot prompt is always whatever game was last played. Is there a way to make NullDC load the game that GameEx tells it to load?
I'm using NullDC 1.6 with GameEx 9.85. I boot all games from the emulator's rom folder. Everything else works with my current set-up.
