For those that post their plans for download

I have a question for the folks that are kind enough to post there plans for download.  Have you ever considered sending them to the "burners" so that they could be included in the "extras" cd?

I wouldn't be opposed to the concept, but it seems to me like the ROM burners walk a pretty fine legal line, and I don't think that I'd want my name "officially" tagged to it if the poop were to hit the fan.

Edit: Besides, I see cabinet building and ROM acquisition as two entirely separate things.

Agreed.  The Extras that go on the CDs are samples, artwork, icons, etc for MAME32. Not REQUIRED to play the games, but compliment them.

It's generally agreed upon that only ROMs and their compliments are to  be included with the distributed sets.

Well, I suppose.  I am neither a burner or a producer of plans, so its ok.  Just curious is all.

I would argue(civily mind you) that cabinet plans or the cabinet you build from the plans, compliment the roms.  A whole different expierence I would imagine.   haha.  Listen to me, I haven't even built a control panel yet.

Anywho.  I just thought I would ask.  Thanks

I am a burner, and it's been more or less the consensus that we'll leave stuff like that out.  Some of us might stick something like that on there to fill some extra room on a disk, but most don't.

Just an Idea like I said...thats all.  I understand that ya'll have your way of doing things.  I respect that.

[edit]
I appreciate your replies, but to be honest, my question was more geared to those that have plans.  Would they like to see their plans included in the distribution?
