DW Jukebox, Headkazes volume and Mala
« on: January 28, 2009, 01:02:09 am »
AS this crosses three software platforms I hope I've posted in the right one

I have Mala running Mame and DW Jukebox. I'm trying to have Mame games volume low but the Jukebox maxxed out as I can adjust the volume easily in the Jukebox

Ideally I want to set Mala at say 50 or 60 for the mame games but when the jukebox fires set it back to 100. So I've put a before and after command using Headkazes volume.exe into Mala for DW JUkebox but it's not working. The jukebox software is limited by Mala's overall volume it seems.

I think I'm doing this backwards?

Just grab a copy of Mame32/UI and lower the overall volume....or, you can find it in the Mame.ini or something.

Yeh I thought I had it backwards. Taking your adviuce I found Core Sound Options in mame in- dropped it to -15 and cranked the sound right up on the master volume.

Now the Jukebox is LOUD and the games spot on. Thanks heaps
